gnome ubuntu-desktop bị treo cứng ?

em dùng gnome quen rồi và cũng muốn đổi GUI khác nhưng dùng gnome trên ubuntu thỉnh thoảng bị treo cứng màn hình (xảy ra nhiều hơn so với GUI khác ) , bàn phím k0 dùng được. Chuột đôi lúc k0 dùng được. GUI khác như KDE, XFCE, lXDE thì k0 bị. Em toàn dùng ubuntu bản mới nhất , hiện tại đang dùng ubuntu studio 9.10
- Xem trên system monitor thì CPU, HDD, mạng, trọng tải hệ thống lúc đó chạy rất thâp, ram dùng rất nhiều. (370mb/ 1G ram ): 36 % dùng bở chương trình, 58% dùng bộ nhớ tạm )
Mani ASUS P5GC - MX 1333, ram Kingston 1 thanh bus 533, 1 thanh 667, cpu Pentium D 805 2.66G

em nghĩ là do driver nhưng driver của ubuntu được viết chung cho khá nhiều dòng chip Intel : 945 , 945GZ , 945GZ .....
Driver trên ASUS, intel về cài thì ít quá, k0 có nhiều lựa chọn, và đúng driver với phần cứng của mình smilie

. Em nghĩ là do driver hay do phần cứng nhưng nhiều người dùng ram lệch bus giống em cũng bị ?

Vậy làm sao trị dứt điểm bệnh này ạ ?
