các bạn cho mình hoi khi mình chạy lênh yum update mà bị thông báo như thế này và thoát ra ngoài là vì sao vậy? Mình test dns tốt, ping ra ngoài tốt!

Mình gợi ý vài điểm:
- chạy yum clean all rồi thử lại
- disable cái repo đó đi xem sao
- Tháo cái yum-fastestmirror ra xem có ăn thua gì không
- Dùng yum qua một proxy server
- ...

còn mình thì nó báo lỗi này, cũng chưa sửa đc. hix

Thông báo lỗi rất rõ ràng: dns không phải được tên mirror smilie

Chỉnh lại DNS (sử dụng OpenDNS là một gợi ý) hoặc thay đổi mirror cho yum. Tớ ít chơi yum lắm, toàn tự rpm thôi smilie

Sống là để không chết chứ không phải để trở thành anh hùng

_ thanks các bạn hướng dẫn! mình đã tìm ra nguyên nhân rồi! Do mình ko chú ý down cổng LAN nội bộ nên nó không đi ra được!

Tks mọi người. Đúng là DNS có vần đề. Vào /etc/resolv.conf sửa là lại chạy như thường

Em vào tài khoản thường cài một số cái, nhưng mà nó báo thế này:
yum update

anh em giúp đỡ với,
Mới cài Fedora 9 thui, đang học linux mà khó sài quá, em cài mấy package mà không dc, ngoài cài fedora 9 xong. em chả cài thêm dc gì nữa cả.
Nghe nhạc cũng chưa đc, Adobe flash player cũng tiu.

Thông báo trên thường do yum autoupdate đang chạy, bạn tắt autoupdate đi, hoặc tìm process của nó mà kill đi. Tớ không đưa ra lệnh cụ thể ở đây, để tắt autoupdate thì dùng chkconfig, để tìm process đang chạy dùng ps, để lọc kí tự (chuỗi kí tự) dùng grep, để kill process dùng lệnh kill.

Hôm nay, máy tính của em có vấn đề về hardware nên đành phải reinstall lại từ đầu. lần trước sau khi cài OS xong em thường install các chương trình media bằng yum vì có quá nhiều gói liên quan nhưng đến lần này thì thật là họa vô đơn chí smilie

Cứ gõ lệnh yum là nó báo
Code:

Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: extras

Làm theo google và các hướng dẫn trên HVA em đã --disalerepo extras thì nó lại báo

Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: updates

Nếu disable các repos đi thì khi cài lại báo missing a dependency packet nên quá trình cài đặt not completed.
Em đã thử

yum clean all
rm -rf /var/cache/yum/*

và change cả DNS trong /etc/resolv.conf theo open DNS nhưng vẫn không được.
Em có suy luận là những lần trước em cài xine hoặc mplayer thì nó cũng báo thiếu repo livna thì em nên trang chủ của livna.org và tải gói livna theo đúng distro về cài bằng rpm là được.
Em không biết là đối với các repo như extras và updates có nơi nào download được cái gói .rpm về cài không?

Bạn dùng Fedora mấy vậy? Cái URL ở trên không tồn tại. Thử xóa "core/" trong baseurl đi xem sao:

Em thấy nó thay /6/i386 vào /$releasever là đúng distro em đang dùng.

Em xóa core/ đi thì khi cài thử mc thì được nhưng không thấy báo tình trạng của repo updates ra sao ( không thấy chạy %)

Cảm ơn anh quanta đã hướng dẫn giải quyết mấy cái troubles này
Em thấy có vẻ như đã ổn bởi vì em cũng đã cài được pidgin và postfix không gặp rắc rối nào cả.
