Thông thường khi gặp câu hỏi này, mọi người thường nghĩ ngay tới lệnh uname -a, thử xem qua một vài outputs của lệnh này:

Linux hostname 2.6.9-5.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Jan 5 19:30:39 EST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Linux hostname 2.6.23.14-115.fc8 #1 SMP Mon Jan 21 14:20:50 EST 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Linux hostname 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Feb 12 07:42:25 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

Với những người mới sử dụng, có lẽ họ vẫn chưa thể xác định được mình đang dùng Distro nào.

Thử dùng một lệnh khác xem sao:
