Không phải "máy ảo" VMware nào cũng cài được bất cứ Linux distro nào. Bồ nên tìm hiểu kỹ xem bồ chạy vmware phiên bản nào và phiên bản ấy có hỗ trợ Linux distro mà bồ muốn cài hay không. Mấy cái này không trực tiếp liên quan tới Linux mà là vmware (trên Windows). 
Em đang dùng bản VMware-workstation-full-7.1.2-301548 . Không biết có hỗ trợ cho fedora core 2 không nữa. nhưng em cài và chạy thành công ubuntu.
