Cấu hình /etc/host cho subdomain

Mình có một webapp chạy ở localhost. MÌnh cấu hình file hosts như sau:
127.0.0.1 domain.com

vì vậy có thề access app bằng browser qua domain.com[:port]
Vấn đề là app này cho user tạo nhiều app con với subdomain. Ví dụ sub1.domain.com. Muốn access app qua sub1.domain.com lại phải add vào hosts:
127.0.0.1 sub1.domain.com
cứ có thêm một app lại phải update lại hosts. Có cách nào cho tất cà các subdomain trỏ vế domain chính ko?

hosts file không hỗ trợ wildcard *.domain.com nên bạn chỉ có thể add bằng tay nếu sử dụng hosts file.
Nếu muốn sử dụng wildcard thì chỉ có cách là dựng 1 DNS trên chính localhost để sử dụng, mà nếu như bạn sử dụng có nhiêu đó (tầm khoảng 10 cái subdomains trở lại) thì dựng 1 DNS có nên không so với việc edit host file?

Yêu cầu của bạn thì bạn nên setup DNS server như BIND, tinydns, ... cho nhanh, tiện lợi và dễ dàng. Lúc đó bạn muốn thêm subdomain, domain nào đó mà bạn cần dùng.

Hello rubythekid,

Bạn thử dnsmasq xem, đơn giản hơn BIND nhiều mà lại đáp ứng được nhu cầu của bạn.

- Cài dnsmasq, uncomment/sửa dòng sau trong `/etc/dnsmasq.conf`:
Code:

address=/domain.com/127.0.0.1

- Thêm một cái nameserver vào `/etc/resolv.conf`:
Code:

nameserver 127.0.0.1
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

- Thử xem nào:
Code:

nslookup sub2.domain.com
Server:		127.0.0.1
Address:	127.0.0.1#53

Name:	sub2.domain.com
Address: 127.0.0.1

thêm bước này nữa là chạy smilie

sudo /etc/init.d/dnsmasq restart
