Bản dịch này là dự án ubuntu-desktop-course-vi trên Launchpad.

Một vấn đề rất lớn ở đây là toàn bộ các ảnh chụp mình lấy đýợc từ mã nguồn DOCBOOK của cuốn sách đều là dành cho giao diện tiếng Anh. Nếu muốn chuyển sang giao diện tiếng Việt, phải chụp lại toàn bộ ảnh (khoảng 70 cái 1 chýõng = 700 cái, chưa kể sửa chú thích! Cũng hãi hùng!)

Cũng cần soạn thêm một số nội dung khác quan trọng chỉ dành cho tiếng Việt. Tạm lược:

– Quá trình cài đặt Ubuntu trên máy. Cần có máy chụp hình, vì 1 số ảnh chỉ cần chụp trýớc khi vào giao diện đồ hoạ!

– Cách cài bộ gõ tiếng Việt (SCIM)- hiện tại, HanoiLug cũng đang có dự án hoàn chỉnh lại bộ gõ tiếng Việt SCIM, vì đây là bộ gõ chính thức có trên Ubuntu. Trong trýờng hợp cần gõ tiếng Nhật, Hàn hay TQ (CJK) thì SCIM vẫn thích hợp. So vớiăng tuỳ biến và ổn định tốt hõn, nếu cài thý viện m17n, ta có thể quy định gõ tắt bằng cách thêm vào file .mim có trong máy. xvnkb và xunikey, SCIM, theo mình có khả n

– Thêm kho phần mềm HanoiLug, OpenLab… vào hệ thống

– Thay đổi các liên kết tham khảo có trong giáo trình sang tiếng Việt

Tin vui thứ 2: OpenOffice chính thức sẽ được các trường học ởử dụng trong năm nay. Tin buồn là họ dùng giao diện tiếng Anh. Hài hýớc! Đó là quan điểm của chuyên gia IT Việt Nam: họ quá quen với giao diện tiếng Anh rồi. Ah, với người học, có lẽ giao diện tiếng Việt vẫn hay hõn? Mình đã ‘truyền bá’ Ubuntu cho mấy người bạn, và tiếng Việt là 1 trong 2 nhân tố quan trọng quyết định sự thích thú của ng dùng (cái còn lại, dĩ nhiên là Compiz-Fusion).

Design Pattern đã có những khuôn mẫu sẵn cho những trường hợp cụ thể. Tớ thấy OOP cũng đồng nghĩa với design pattern. Nói chung khi có càng nhiều kinh nghiệm thì tự mình sẽ có khả năng tạo thêm một pattern mới. Có một cuốn sách của tập thể lập trình viên Mỹ đã miêu tả được mới 23 pattern. Điều đó có nghĩa là pattern không phải nhiều, nhưng sử dụng thì khó, phải linh động nhiều.

Tớ nói thế này: mô hình security của Win NT mạnh hơn Unix rất nhiều. Có lẽ cũng bởi vì ta không trực tiếp tham gia vào quá trình này trên Win nên kô nhận ra điều đó. Một cách phòng chống con này:
Ở menu chính của Y!M, Các bạn click vào menu Messenger > Preferences rồi chọn tab Message. Sau đó, nhìn vào bên phải, thấy cái khung có dòng chữ "Pressing Enter in a message window", chọn "Inserts a new line in the message".
