Dear all,

Hiện nay, cty có sử dụng email postfix và dovecot sử dụng IMAP dùng webmail là squirremail. Cách đây một tháng có hiện tượng email thi thoảng vào rất chậm và không xác thực được khi kết nối bằng outlook và thường thì phải stop dịch vụ dovecot và start lại .Tôi xem log emailerror thì có lỗi sau

Cấu hình dovecot của tôi như sau:

protocols = imap
listen = *
mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir
disable_plaintext_auth = no

auth default {

user = postfix
group = postfix
auth_cache_size = 4096
auth_cache_ttl = 14400
}
}
mechanisms = plain login
}

Tôi sử dụng chứng thực StartTLS cho imap và smtp

Nếu ai đã gặp lỗi như tôi mong được chia sẻ.Cty tôi có khoảng 180 nhân viên

Đoạn log trên là do Dovecot chưa stop được thì bạn lại start lên thôi.

Lúc "có hiện tượng email thi thoảng vào rất chậm và không xác thực được khi kết nối bằng outlook" thì trong log có những thông tin gì?

Đây là toàn bộ log ngày hôm nay của mình nhưng nếu ngày nghỉ mọi người không dùng outlook thì không bao giờ bị hiện tượng này(webmail thoải mái luôn)

Mình nghĩ lỗi xảy ra lúc khoảng 9h8 phút vì có dòng :

---> Mình chưa biết có phải do dùng outlook bị hiện tượng này không vì mình có xem một số giải thích trên mạng nhưng có vẻ chưa hợp lý lắm.Nếu dùng thunderbird thì mail tự reconnect và get mail nhanh hơn outlook

Outlook hình như nó hay bị lỗi hay sao ý, mình cũng build 2 cái mail server, 1 cái Postfix + Courier + Roundcube, 1 cái dùng Zimbra, cái đầu thì chỉ dùng webmail và thunderbird thấy ok, nhưng zimbra thì cho cty khác dùng, chỉ dùng outlook thì support lỗi mệt nghỉ lun !!! mình thấy nó load chậm và cà giựt sao í.

Tks bạn đã có một ý kiến trả lời giống trên một forum của nước ngoài cũng đã nói vậy? Mọi người ơi còn ai đã có kinh nghiệm về vụ này cho ý kiến tiếp đi nhé để những ae đi sau biét được lỗi chính xác mà fix

Mình có thử tra qua trên google thì thấy có 1 link : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dovecot/+bug/873390
Bug này là do parent process đã kill nhưng child process thì không nên khi start lên sẽ bị tranh chấp port hoặc socket do các child process trước đó chưa bị kill đang nắm giữ.
Cách giải quyết chắc là phải update dovecot thôi.

Có chỗ nào sai các bạn chỉ giúp mình nhé.

Mình cũng nói thêm trước đây khi user không sử dụng outlook nhiều chủ yếu dùng webmail thì không có hiện tượng này.Chắc thử upgrade dovecot last version xem nó có thay đổi gì không...! ai có kinh nghiệm chia sẻ cho mình cũng như mọi người trong diễn đàn sau này không bị lỗi tuơng tự nhé

Mình đã từng được sử dụng một hệ thống mail thuê của 1 nhà cung cấp dịch vụ, sử dụng Outlook kết nối imap lúc được lúc không, nhưng với Thunderbird thì ko bao giờ bị.
Mình nghĩ vấn đề nằm ở Outlook, sử dụng với một số hệ thống mail (khác Exchange) tương thích không tốt lắm.
